Join us on our wide-ranging programme of events

We run a variety of events throughout the year and you are always welcome to join us. Transport to the coach pick-up point can be provided if needed. A small fee to cover our costs is usually charged.

2025 Outings are as follows:

JANUARY – Oswaldtwistle Mill, Lancs. A former weaving mill with 100 retailers all under one roof.

FEBRUARY – The Deep, Hull. An award-winning aquarium, home to 5000 animals.
They have wheelchairs and mobility scooters for hire, on a first come first served basis.

MARCH – Pendle Village Shopping Centre. A restored cotton mill spanning 120,000 square feet.

APRIL – Wentworth Garden Centre. A garden centre with a walled garden, family farm shop and café.

MAY – Burnby Hall Gardens and Museum PLUS a short visit to Pocklington. Marvel at Burnby Hall’s tulip festival. Good paths all around the gardens. Café and Small gift shop.

JUNE – Scarborough. Sea front, beach and shops.

JULY – The City of Lincoln. The old side of the city is flat. The streets are cobbled but the footpaths are not. The modern side of town is down a very steep hill but there is a ‘walk and ride’ bus 3 times an hour, free with your bus pass.

AUGUST – Buxton and Bakewell. Flat with shops, one called Potters, tourists make a B-line for it. Lots of cafes. Old town tourist hotspot. Bakewell – similar but smaller and very picturesque.

SEPTEMBER – Whitby and Thornton le dale. Whitby Old town, beach and new town shopping. Thornton le dale boasts Mathewson’s Bangers and Cash Showroom, village pond and stream running through. Choice of cafes.

OCTOBER – Boundary Mill Outlet, Colne. Start your Christmas shopping in this huge indoor shopping centre.

NOVEMBER – Tong Garden Centre. Immerse yourself in the magic of the Christmas displays.

DECEMBER – Christmas Lunch. Venue TBC.
