Over the years, the Sherburn Visiting Scheme has become an essential service for many of our local residents and is coming under increasing pressure due to the increased number of members, the wider range of services we offer, and the retirement of long-standing volunteers.

The need for new volunteers and drivers is essential for the service to continue. If you can help by giving a small amount of your time to help transport people, or attend weekly activities to help cook or make cups of tea, we would love to hear from you.

We encourage people of all ages, from all backgrounds and with a range of skills to join and help us contribute to the lives of seniors in our area.

The most precious gift you can give is your time.

If you think you can help us to provide any of our services to members, then please get in touch with us.
