Tuesday Afternoon Social

The Tuesday afternoon social is time for a cup of tea, a biscuit and natter with friends, we try our best to organise a different activity at each social.  The social starts at 13:30 until 15:30 and takes place at the Lady Popplewell Centre, Beech Close, Sherburn in Elmet, LS25 6EE.

The Social is every fortnight commencing Tuesday, August 1st, 2017.  For those who are unable to get to the centre, transport can be arranged at the cost of £1.00.

For those that wish to participate, a different activity is organised at each social.  The activity lasts approximately one hour; sufficient time for a second cup of tea and a raffle before you leave!

The Social is a free event and does not require you to book to attend.

Volunteer Drivers Needed

The scheme is becoming under increasing pressure due to the increased number of people using the service and the retirement of some of our longstanding drivers. The need for new drivers is vital for the service to continue.
