Memory Cafe

Every Monday, we gather at the Sherburn in Elmet Old Girls’ School between 13:00 and 15:30. The Memory Cafe was originally created for local residents who have early stages of dementia and their carers, however, the Cafe is open to all residents who wish to attend.  The Memory Cafe is a social afternoon where residents can sit and have a chat with a fun activity, or participate in a game of dominos whilst enjoying a hot drink.

The Memory Cafe is suitable for all age groups and there is no need to book in advance to attend our Memory Cafe, just pop in and say hi and join in on the fun!

Volunteer Drivers Needed

The scheme is becoming under increasing pressure due to the increased number of people using the service and the retirement of some of our longstanding drivers. The need for new drivers is vital for the service to continue.
